MFLC Counselor

Sandra Bragg

My name is Sandra Hardison Bragg. I am a Military and Family Life Counselor since 2012. I specialize in working with military families and children.   As a school MFLC, I work with students and staff offering counseling and support services and assisting with day-to-day stressors.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.   My education includes degrees from Coastal Carolina Community College, University of North Carolina -Wilmington, East Carolina University and Capella University. Not only am I a product of the Onslow County School System, but one of my field experiences included being an Intern as a school social worker.

To paraphrase Michael J. Fox, Family and children are not just important, they are everything. My love for families and children goes back to my beginnings as a social worker in the Departments of Youth Services and Social Services.  My education included a specialization in Family and Child studies.

My personal goal is to be a change agent for families that positively impact the lives of children and vice vera. My major professional accomplishment was receiving my PhD in Human Services after being told early on in my high school career that I was not college material.

I love to read most anything and of course spending time with my family.
